Let's round off this year on a happy note, shall we?
A friend of mine shared what is by far THE best article of 2019 and what perfect timing as the year comes to a close. I wish I knew about The Happy Broadcast from ages back, but better now than never.
The Happy Broadcast's aim is to battle society anxiety caused by negative new stories that are exposed to us on a daily basis. To counteract this, they create colourful and adorable posts about news stories from around the world that are guaranteed to make you smile.
The article on Bored Panda picked 50 jolly news stories to feature; however, you will be able to find a more extensive collection on The Happy Broadcast website, Instagram, and Facebook page. This also includes cheery news stories from 2018. I have included some of the illustrations below so that you can get an idea of how awesome the rest of the stories are.
